Titan Yearbook 1999
BACK No Limits
The 1998-1999 Titan yearbook staff proved to not let any limits stop them. Beginning at the end of last school year, returning members got off to a great start by deciding on a theme. Though it was a hard task, the staffers pulled together to come up with the best theme to describe the upcoming school year. This was the beginning of the amazing teamwork that has been shown throughout the entire school year. During the summer, six of the staffers gathered in Orlando, Florida to attend a yearbook workshop called Yearbookpalooza. There, important factors, like the design for the cover and new reporting methods, were developed.
The entire year has been a great experience for all staffers. Even through the stressful deadlines, the entire team pulled together to create a different approach to the "traditional" yearbook. Whether in writing, photography, or interviewing, they all spent countless hours putting all these memories into 360 pages. Yearbook staffers have also contributed in other areas, like selling yearbooks during the two-day sale and taking picture orders during picture day. Piece by piece, many people gave their all to put together this book, the best yearbook ever.

This is it, the final goodbye. It has been a wonderful three years, filled with memories that I will never forget. Yearbook has given me the opportunity to meet many interesting people. This year has been the most rewarding, and the most stressful as well. Above all, I would like to thank Mr. Naylor for giving me the opportunity to make the coolest yearbook the world has ever seen. A very special thanks goes out to the Yearbookpalooza gang. Yadira, Valerie, Viancca, Jamie, and Christina; you guys were the greatest group to spend three days in Orlando with. Hey George, here's your thank you. Yudy, Girard, and Dorothy, you guys were always there when I needed you. Thanks to the rest of the staff for sticking together and putting together an awesome book. Good luck to the Seniors. Go ahead, make something of yourself. To all the underclassmen, I challenge you to make a better book than this. No limits.

I came into the Health Academy my freshman year with one goal - to become a Physician Assistant in Pediatrics. Joining the Titan yearbook staff was the first and only thing to come along and make me second guess my decision. The past 2 years as a part of this group have been invaluable to me. Through my editing positions I've gained confidence in dealing with people that has now become part of my identity, and I've also realized my passion. Look out Kate White, my dream is now to be editor-in-chief for Cosmopolitan magazine.I can't thank you enough, Mr. Naylor, for putting up with my bull-headedness. Giving me the reins and letting me prove myself in Student Life helped me find my niche. I told you I wouldn't let you down. Tay-pot, you know I love you to bits, you were definitely my favorite partner in crime. If walls could talk, the photography room would speak volumes. Thank God walls don't have mouths. Adam, I have a feeling this year will soon be a minor success for you. I love you and I'm so proud of you. It's been such an honor working on this book with this staff. Good luck everybody!
