  Saturday, January 20, 1990 a whispered rumor became reality. Sour Dough Productions presented the Now Muffins. And if that wasn't enough, opening for the Muffins was a group the Bay area had not seen for over 10 years, Troupe II, "a reunion."

  This was rock n roll the way it was meant to be played. Loud and bad under a rented carnival tent in someone's backyard.  
  If you liked Helen Reddy, you were advised to stay at home. If you listened to WARM radio, rent a movie from Blockbusters. If you liked the Carpenters. You were asked to kindly send your invitation back.
