Awards and Competitions SkillsUSA - Career & Technical Student Organization Students in our program are encouraged to join SkillsUSA, a nationally based industrial education club. Members can compete in local, state and national contests, comparing their skills with others of their age group enrolled in similar programs around the nation. Membership $25. ADDY Awards The AAF Student ADDY Awards Competition is a unique national awards program designed specially for design students. Work entered at your local level can move up to the regional and national judging, just like the work entered by professionals across the country. Sponsored by the American Advertising Federation, the ADDYs are the largest and most representative creative competition in the advertising industry. Recognizing creative excellence and the very best advertising worldwide. Student entry fees $20. per entry, awards banquet $50.-$75. Florida Industrial & Technology Education CompetitionSM The Florida Strawberry Festival® Florida Industrial & Technology Education Competition is designed to recognize outstanding Industrial & Technology students and their instructors in Hillsborough County Public Schools in grades 6 thru 12. One entry per student - no entry fee. (Contests discontinued 2008) Florida Print Awards Sponsored by the Printing Association of Florida. First 15 class entries are free. Awards banquet $85. |
